The activity will cover the details of the Individual Activity application process. The participants will actually construct certain areas of the application, so they have a better of understanding of how to perform a needs assessment, identify a professional practice gap, develop learning outcomes from the identified gap and examine how to evaluate based on the learning outcomes. We will address Conflicts of Interest (COI), effective teaching strategies, and evidence-based content.

GNA is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

  • We will answer key questions including: What is a problem in practice or an opportunity for growth? How to determine if a problem exists?
  • How to develop learning outcomes that address the problem in practice.
  • We will address Conflicts of Interest (COI), effective teaching strategies, and what constitutes evidence-based content.
  • We will take an up close and informative review of how to complete GNA’s Individual Activity Application.
  • 5.75 contact hours will be awarded
