Additional Information

S-l-o-w down, take a breath, and relax into a wonderful day with your fellow nurses.

Nurses are the largest givers of health and healing in the US yet so often nurses put themselves last, frequently draining our last bits of energy to help others.  That is great for others but not so good for ourselves.

We need to change that, starting today.

Join us for a hands on training designed to teach nurses how to take better care of themselves by learning effective, repeatable mindfulness & meditation techniques, the research behind the techniques, and the big WHY this all works.  You will, of course, best learn how to manage your internal resistance and fear, and how more safely help others.

The workshop includes Yogic breathing techniques, deep stress reduction techniques, energy connection exercises, keeping your energy safe techniques, guided and silent mindfulness & meditation exercises.  Participants receive a mini-workbook, a journal, an eye mask, an electric tea candle, and a certificate of attendance.  You will float away at the end of the day

The course will be taught by Christopher “Chase” Carey, MBA, 3rd Degree Black Belt.  Chase is a former insurance company executive turned Author (“Chasin’ Meditation”, "Chasing your Mind Warrior", Speaker, and Corporate Trainer and now a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Yoga Teacher.  He has been studying and practicing Mindfulness & Meditation techniques for 26 years and began teaching in the corporate world in 2012.  He specializes in guided meditation and working with your subconscious mind to release resistance and manage stress using a professional approach.  He is certified in several complementary and healing modalities including Jin shin Jyutsu, PSI, and therapeutic touch. He is a Whil Certified Mindful Leader, Certified by the McLean Meditation Institute, Chasing Mindfulness, and a 200 hour Yoga Teacher by the Yoga Alliance.  (www.ChasingMindfulness.com).
