About Dr. Ackerman-Barger
Kupiri W. Ackerman-Barger, Ph.D., R.N., C.N.E., F.A.A.N. is associate dean for Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and an associate clinical professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. She is also the director of Faculty Development for Education and Teaching, co-director for the Interprofessional Teaching Scholars Program and serves as a researcher for the Center for a Diverse Healthcare Workforce at UC Davis Health.
