This virtual workshop is for folks interested in learning or reviewing how to offer a high quality, evidence-based, and outcome-driven nursing continuing professional development activity.

Participants will familiarize with the American Nurses Crendentialing Center's criteria (ANCC), learn to identify what is called a practice gap, understand the Individual Activity (IA) Application, and learn exactly what IA application reviewers look for. 

  

Participants will learn from the Georgia Nurses Association Accredited Approver Program Director Lynn Rhyne, MN, RNC-MNN. Lynn has been in her role as Program Director and as the Primary Nurse Planner for the Approved Provider Unit since October 2017.  She has been involved with the GNA Continuing Education Committee since 2003.  Lynn is a retired Associate Professor of Nursing and was an educator for 27 years prior to retirement.
