Additional Information

Due to high demand, registration for the second cohort of the GNA Leadership Academy is now available!

The GNA Leadership Academy (the Academy) is the result of the collaboration of GNA and industry leaders uLeadership and Rali Solutions to address the need for human-centered leadership in the complex sector of healthcare, at the beside and in the executive suite.

The human-centered leadership model is an evidence-based approach that requires the leader to practice mindfulness and self-care, and to adopt the outward focused leadership attributes of the Awakener, the Connector, and the Upholder.

The Academy is an immersive online experience delivered by Rali Solutions, where leaders in training will go through a series of Learn │Do │Inspire activities with their peers to understand, practice, and implement human-centered leadership skills - a proven approach that drives permanent learning and behavior change leading to nursing leadership excellence.

The mission is to make a difference in healthcare by developing the people who lead the people who care for people.

“To watch the GNA Leadership Academy take shape has been a dream of ours since before the Covid-19 Pandemic,” said immediate past GNA President and GNA Peer Assistance Program Executive Director Richard Lamphier, RN. “To say that it is finally here and ready to develop the next generation of leaders is truly a rewarding and inspirational experience.”

Classes are made up of 30 participants and last between 8 to 12 weeks. 20 contact hours will be awarded as well as a certificate of completion*.

Second cohort begins on April 15, 2024.
