Not all healthcare facilities can offer de-escalation trainings to their staff, so a lot of nurses are left to their own devices to figure out how to de-escalate a violent situation in the workplace.
The Georgia Nurses Association's vision is to inspire and empower Georgia's nurses to lead innovative change and improve health, and in that vein, we partnered with Pinnacle Global Professionals (PGP), an experienced risk mitigation consulting group, to offer the "De-escalation Training: Putting an End to Nurse Abuse" to all nurses in Georgia.
This affordable and highly effective training will teach participants the skills and techniques to mitigate verbal and physical abuse in the workplace, and more. Nurses in attendance will learn what works.
The cost to GNA Members is $90. Non Members's cost is $140.
This three-hour virtual training with a break is available on two different dates and times to cater to the availability and schedules of a variety of practitioners.
