Registered Nurse New

The Northeast Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Jackson County Health Department in Jefferson, Georgia. Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures. Provides services in all programs; immunization, WIC, Family Planning, Women’s Health, Diabetes, Hypertension, STD, TB, etc. to the general public. Assess each patient’s condition, develops a plan of care, provides treatments, educates patients, and makes referrals as appropriate. Provides outreach services and other key preventive health services to the community. The ideal candidate will not only excel in providing high-quality patient care but also possess strong computer skills to effectively manage electronic health records and other digital tools used in modern healthcare. Provide nursing coverage at the Commerce location when needed.
