Position Description

The Northeast Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing and leadership in addition to technical consultation and training to public health nurses for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), Tuberculosis (TB), and Other Infectious Disease (OID) programs. The position is based in Athens, GA and involves travel to the Northeast Health District’s 10 counties (Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Walton) as indicated. Under broad supervision, provides professional nursing care, training and consultation in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures.
