Job Summary Georgia Southwestern State University invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for its next Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The Dean will provide academic and strategic leadership, develop and articulate a comprehensive vision and mission, foster innovative practices, advocate for faculty, staff, and students, lead accreditation processes, and ensure a vibrant future for the College.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and strategic leadership for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
• Develop and articulate a comprehensive vision and mission for the College.
• Foster innovative practices in teaching, research, and service.
• Advocate for faculty, staff, and students within the College.
• Lead accreditation processes to maintain and enhance the College’s academic standards.
• Ensure the College's alignment with the University's strategic goals.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships within the University and with external stakeholders.
• Engage in fundraising and resource development to support the College’s initiatives.
• Represent the College at University, community, state, national, and international levels.
