GNA/GNF Postpones GNF Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament due to COVID-19 Outbreak
Posted over 5 years ago by Charlotte Endemano
On Friday, March 13th, the Georgia Nurses Association/ Georgia Nurses Foundation (GNA/GNF) postponed its 2020 annual fundraising golf tournament ‘Teeing Up for Georgia Nurses’ due to the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronovirus) in the state. A new date will be announced at a later time.
GNA CEO Matt Caseman along with the Golf Tournament Planning Committee stated that it is wise to avoid encouraging residents to be out and about while the situation with the Virus is still developing. “We want everyone to be safe and healthy, so we decided to move the event to late summer.”
The Tournament was originally scheduled for April 16th. We will announce the new date at a later time.
