From the Georgia Board of Nursing. Published with permission.

In response to the Governor's declaration of a Public Health State of Emergency, the Board has enacted Policy 1.16 which provides for the issuance of temporary permits for licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses who have an active, unencumbered license in any other U.S. jurisdiction who are entering into the state to respond to the declared emergency.  Please click here for more information.

Additionally, Georgia is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).  Any licensed practical nurse or registered nurse with a multistate license from another NLC jurisdiction may practice in Georgia using their multistate privilege.
