GNA-PAP offers virtual support group sessions for nurses in recovery

Posted about 5 years ago by Charlotte Endemano

The Georgia Nurses Association Peer Assistance Program (GNA-PAP) is offering weekly virtual support sessions to Georgia nurses in recovery.

Hosted by Lisa Marie Walsh, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMNP-BC, the GNA-PAP “Embracing A Crisis: A Discovery Journey for Nurses” virtual support session allows nurses to learn how to embrace the current crisis in our world and explore how we can support one another and those who are struggling with their recovery.

“Practicing nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic exerts extreme physical, emotional and mental pressures on all nurses. For our nurses in recovery, this can be a very challenging time,” stated GNA-PAP Chair Elect Barbara Austin RN, MN.

Sessions take place every Friday at 8:00 AM and Sunday at 5:00 PM.

You may join the sessions by emailing Lisa Marie at Lisamarie@northatlantarecovery.com.
