Members of the community can help recognize nursing excellence by donating. The names of donors will be showcased live during the celebration.
- For a $50 Donation we can give a month’s supply of diapers to a family in need
- For a $75 Donation we can provide screening for a baby in a hospital or fund one hour of prematurity research
- For a $100 Donation we can provide essential baby items such as a stroller or pack-n-play
- For a $500 Donation we can support moms in the NICU with support and education to give their babies the best chance to be healthy. Premature birth and the resulting complications is the largest cause of death for children ages 0 to 5 years.
- For A $1000 Donation we can provide a digital tablet to help families stay connected and fund our mission by ensuring our health education and family support resources are provided at the bedside. Our online maternal and infant education help new moms and families care for their infants. Online education is the safest option during the pandemic.
About the March of Dimes
March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. We believe that every baby deserves the best possible start. For 80 years, March of Dimes has helped millions of babies survive and thrive. Now we’re building on that legacy to level the playing field for all moms and babies, no matter their age, socio-economic background or demographics. We support moms throughout their pregnancy, even when everything doesn’t go according to plan. We advocate for policies that prioritize their health. We support radical improvements to the care they receive. And we pioneer research to find solutions to the biggest health threats to moms and babies.
