Statement on recent racist attack at a virtual event

March 11, 2021- The Georgia Nurses Association was recently made aware of racist attacks against our fellow colleagues during a Zoom meeting by a  “Zoom Bomber”. Such cowardly, despicable actions will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We and our fellow Nursing organizations in Georgia stand against racism in nursing and in our communities. All people should be cared for and treated with respect.
