February 14, 2022– The Georgia Nurses Foundation (GNF) inducted 10 Georgia registered nurses into the inaugural class of the Georgia Nursing Hall of Fame™ last Thursday, February 10th at The Estate in Atlanta.

“It was such a lovely and elegant event,” said inaugural inductee Dr. Lisa Eichelberger. “I was truly honored to have been a part of the first class of inductees.”

The inductees are exemplary nurses who have made or have been making contributions in the profession for over 25 years, and who have elevated the role of registered nurses locally, nationally, and/or internationally.

“Our exemplary nurses must be recognized. And after over two years of planning and great anticipation, I am extremely thankful and glad that we finally are seeing it come to pass,” GNF President Wanda Jones, BSN, RN, MSN, FNP-BC,” remarked. “We thank our sponsors greatly for helping us make this memorable event a reality.”

Congratulations to the Georgia Nursing Hall of Fame™ Inaugural Inductees!
