Georgia Nurses Foundation helps mothers in need, partners with local organization

October 21, 2022- The Georgia Nurses Foundation (GNF) participated in the Fill the Warehouse Challenge by the non-profit organization Helping Mamas- Atlanta to help collect diaper donations in support of mothers in need. The Challenge took place during Diaper Need Awareness Week.

The Foundation hosted a donation drive at the 2022 GNA Conference Nurses Challenge Healthcare to Change on September 30th to October 2nd, and GNF President Wanda Jones reported "I am overjoyed to share that we helped Helping Mamas collect a total of nearly 114,000 diapers!".

GNF was one of many organizations that said yes! to supporting mothers in need of diapers for their babies. 

"I thank each and everyone who donated to the cause for their help and support.10,520 babies will receive diapers because of you!" Stated Jones.
