Georgia Nurses Foundation announces Georgia Nursing Hall of Fame™ nominations period for 2024 cohort.

November 15, 2023 – the Georgia Nurses Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2024 cohort of the Georgia Nursing Hall of Fame™. The Georgia Nursing Hall of Fame™ recognizes exemplary nurses who have become legends for their dedication to nursing in the state of Georgia.

Inductees will join the remarkable inaugural cohort of 2022:

Candice Saunders, FACHE, RN

Lisa Eichelberger, PhD, RN

Joyce McMurrain, MSN, RN

Lucy Marion, PhD, RN, FAAN, FAANP

Joyce Barlow, MBA, MHA, RN

Connie Buchanan, MS, NP-C, FNP

Tim Porter O’Grady, DM, EdD, ScD (h), APRN, FAAN, FACCWS

Lucy Rogers, CNHA, CSA, FACHCA, CHC, CCE, RN

Mary E. Walker, BSN, RN-BC

Mary N. Long, RN

 

Nominations may be sent for free from November 15 to December 31, 2023, to gnf@georgianurses.org.
