Posted 10 days ago by Charlotte Endemano in Continuing Education
Join the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE) for a FREE two-part training session focused on how major pieces of climate legislation are providing significant funding to protect health and address climate change.
The series aims to underscore the importance of preserving climate investments and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), along with how these funds are being utilized locally to promote public health in a variety of contexts.
The first webinar, Health Impacts of Federal Climate Investments, to be held on January 22nd at 3 pm ET, will feature speakers providing an overview of how climate investments improve health outcomes, examples of local benefits to communities, and opportunities for nurses to promote implementation at a state and local level.
The second webinar, Schools, Health Systems, and the Inflation Reduction Act, to be held on Feb 5th at 3 pm ET, will feature speakers to provide examples of programs implemented through IRA funding, specifically relating to electric school buses and clean energy programs in health systems.
You can join one or both of the trainings, although we could encourage you to register for both.
Nursing CE will be provided.
