A Tribute: Linda Burnes Bolton, DrPH, RN, FAAN, 1948 – 2025

January 14, 2025 - With great sadness, a tribute to and a celebration for the life and legacy of a true Legend and icon of the nursing profession who passed away on January 11, 2025: Linda Burnes Bolton, DrPH, RN, FAAN, 1948 – 2025. This is significant for nursing and healthcare leadership for the thousands of lives Dr. Burnes Bolton touched throughout her career both nationally and internationally. Her generosity to the profession, mentorship, and quality will not be forgotten. We had the pleasure of her sharing her wisdom and insight as a keynote speaker with us at the GNA/GNF and UAPRN Unity Conference at the Cobb Galleria in 2019.

May her light continue to shine bright within all of us who had the honor to be in her presence. May you rest in peace knowing that you fulfilled your purpose her on planet earth with so many and now there is a new star shining bright in the heavens because of you.
