GNA presents new GNA-PAP Executive Director

August 27, 2025 – GNA presents new GNA-PAP Executive Director.

The Georgia Nurses Association (GNA) is pleased to introduce the new executive director for the GNA Peer Assistance Program (GNA-PAP), Felicia P. Chatman, MSN, BSN, RN.

 

The GNA-PAP is a collaborative effort with the Georgia Board of Nursing and GNA to support nurses suffering from the disease of substance use disorder, while assuring the safe practice of nursing and maintenance of nursing standards.

“I am extremely excited to come aboard as the Executive Director of GNA-PAP,” stated Chatman. “I look forward to building upon the great and impactful work this small but mighty team currently delivers in supporting nurses through their recovery program journey.”

“Felicia, a former Georgia Nurses Foundation Board of Trustees, brings a wealth of experience to her new role,” added GNA/GNF CEO Matt Caseman. “Over the past year, she has been instrumental in developing crucial policies and procedures that are essential for advancing the program. With her expertise, I am confident that she will uphold the PAP's legacy of supporting nurses dealing with substance use disorder in Georgia.”
